Volleyball sweeps Edison; Varsity improves to 6-4

Girl’s volleyball defeated Edison Sept. 12, improving their record to 6-4.

South Lakes quickly took the first set of the game 25-9. They went on to win the next two sets 25-12 and 25-10 to complete the sweep.

JV also won their match against Edison with an impressive two sets to none victory.

The varsity team had previous successive victories against Herndon, Langley, and Annandale, making Edison their fourth consecutive victory. Previous wins include Lake Braddock and Falls Church, with loses against Chantilly, Fairfax, Oakton, and Westfield.

The next game is Sept. 18 at Wakefield.
