South Lakes hosted its third annual Career Fair for sophomores April 12.
The Career Fair culminates the sophomores’ two week career unit, providing an opportunity to speak with professionals from a wide variety of professions.
“This is a volunteer organized event,” career center specialist Karen Burke said. “Teachers have been asked to spread the word and reach out to people with multiple careers, from judges to yoga instructors.”
The fair was held in the cafeteria for the duration of an hour, allowing time for sophomores to browse and gain insight on what it’s like to have their dream job.
