Mental Wellness Week continued today as students celebrated the use of Safety Nets, particularly in the form of support from friends and family.
Students were encouraged during lunch to write down the name of someone who helps them during difficult times in their lives. These names were then symbolically hung on a net in the Cafeteria.
A stress reducing yoga session was also scheduled for after school in the auxiliary gym. Last year the event attracted over eight people, but today only two participants were present.
Tomorrow is Bounce Back day, which promotes ways to recover after facing hardships.
