- Congressional App Challenge – deadline Nov. 1, 2019 for middle or high schoolers
- Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars (VSATS) – Dec. 2019 through May 2020 and 7 days in the summer, deadline Nov. 10, 2019 for 10th & 11th graders with 2.7 GPA+
- Virginia Earth System Science Scholars (VESSS) – Dec. 2019 through May 2020 and June 20-26, 2020 or July 18-24, 2020, deadline Nov. 10, 2019. Online & Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA for 11th & 12 graders.
- Virginia Space Coast Scholars (VSCS) – Dec. 2019 through April 2020 and 1 week in summer, deadline Nov. 10, 2019 on line and Wallops Island, VA for 10th graders.
