Students take part in powderpuff football event
Seniors and freshmen win their matches, earn spirit week points
Leadership students served up food donated from a variety of restaurants to their peers during a school cookout at the stadium entrance before the powderpuff games Thursday, Oct. 17.
Freshmen took on sophomores at 6 p.m. and ultimately defeated them.
Following the freshmen victory, drum line performed and representatives from each grade took part in a mummy relay.
Seniors played juniors at 7 p.m., winning their final powderpuff football game.
“It was awesome we won,” senior Lindsey Gibson said.
