Football hopes to rebound from last Friday’s defeat at region playoffs tonight

Football lost its senior night game to Fairfax 24-7 last Friday.

The team finished its regular season with a 5-5 record. However,  its 2-4 record in district play keeps it in the running for the state championship.

The South Lakes Seahawks will take on the undefeated Centerville Wildcats tonight at 7:30 p.m. on the Wildcats’ home turf for 6A Northern Region playoffs.

Centerville is ranked number one in the state for football, while South Lakes is ranked 149th.
