Sleeping in, school twice a week and staying home all day every day? Sounds like a dream! However, this dream can shortly turn into a nightmare when every day blends together and feels like you’re in some sort of time warp. You may also feel lazy and unproductive every day, which is not a good feeling. Here are some helpful ways to stay productive during quarantine:
Make a routine
This one is just as simple as it sounds. Sit down and write out a daily or weekly routine that helps you accomplish everything you need to get done (with some free time of course) so that you can have something to follow every day and stick to a schedule that works
Set aside one day for school work
Along with making a routine, it can be extremely helpful to pick just one day every week to complete all of your schoolwork so that it can be all done and out of the way.
Fix your sleep schedule
When life gets in the way, sleep ends up being one of the first things sacrificed. Now is the perfect time to go to sleep at a decent hour and wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to start the day.
One of the easiest ways to feel productive is to do a workout at home. Anything from a walk to a cardio workout can make you feel like you are being productive and doing something other than relaxing during the day.
As easy as it is to stay in your pj’s all day long, getting ready for the day can make you feel like you are doing something productive and help feel as similar to a school or regular day as possible.
Make your bed
Just making your bed can make your room feel clean and also help you feel like you are completing a task.
Make a to-do list
A to-do list can help organize your thoughts and give a list of goals for the day or week so that you can complete everything you wanted to and leave you with a feeling of accomplishment when you cross off one of the things on that list.
