The Drama series, specifically season three of “The White Lotus,” has recently gone viral. “The White Lotus” currently has three seasons, with a fourth in the making. Each season follows a different story line of wealthy families or friends going on a luxury vacation. However, there’s a catch, each season there is some sort of conflict that results in a death. The cast of each season consists of very famous actors, some of which continue to return each season, and some who do not.

Season three became popular due to its unique and suspenseful storyline. Typically, every season has eight episodes, each about an hour long. However, season three has 10 episodes, which surprised and raised suspicion in the audience. Season 10 takes place at the White Lotus Resort, in Thailand. It follows the “wealthy” family of five, the Ratliffs, couple Rick and Chelsea, three lifelong friends, Jaclyn, Kate and Laurie, professional masseuse, Belinda, resort workers Mook and Gaitok, and couple Gary and Chloe.

The Ratliffs are a family of five who are seeking a vacation. Jason Isaacs portrays the role of the dad, Timothy, Parker Posey plays the character of the mom, Victoria, Patrick Schwarzenegger plays Saxon, their son, Sarah Catherine Hook plays Piper, their daughter, and Sam Navola plays their youngest son, Lochlan. Rick, played by Walton Goggons and Chelsea, played by Amiee Lou Wood go to Thailand so that Rick can find out who killed his father. Life long friends played by actresses Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon and Leslie Bibb ventured to the White Lotus to catch up and spend time with each other. Belinda, who appears in season one, goes to Thailand to work at the White Lotus as part of an exchange program, and ends up really paranoid because of a certain character. Mook and Gaitok are both employees who experience a robbery. Lastly, couple Gary, played by Jon Gries, who appeared in both season one and two, and has a dark history, dates former model Chloe, played by Charlotte Le Bon who both live in Thailand. These actors and actresses, along with the eventful and intriguing storyline made this season many peoples favorites.

Seasons one and two are additionally very interesting. Season one takes place in Hawaii, starring Jennifer Coolidge, Sydney Sweeney, Alexandra Deddario, Natasha Rothwall, Jon Gries, Jake Lacy, Connie Britton, Murray Bartlett, Lukas Gage, Steve Zahn and Molly Shannon. Season two occurs in Sicily Italy, and stars Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, Leo Woodall, Meghann Fahy, Halety Lu Richardson, Simona Tobasco, Will Sharpe, Adam DiMarco and Tom Hollander. Jennifer Coolidge and Jon Gries return in season two as well.

Overall, this entertaining and unsettling show has gained popularity in the last couple months due to season three, since the original release of season one in 2021. Season four is expected to be released in late 2026 or early 2027. Fans are eager to see who returns during this season, the new stars of the season, and the filming location of season four.
