“SingStrong,” an international a cappella music festival, returns to SLHS March 1-3. This 3-day festival offers clinics, concerts and competitions for music students and professionals of all ages as well as anyone who simply enjoys contemporary a cappella and great singing.

Friday, March 1: Aca Idol @ 7 p.m.
College and semi- pro groups compete Aca Idol style in front of a panel of judges. The audience votes for their favorite via cell phone. Winners are selected by both the audience and judges votes with a $1000 cash prize to the winning group.
Saturday, March 2 High School Competition @ 2 p.m.
See the high school groups battle it out for awards and the 1st place title to open for the headliner’s Saturday night concert.
South Lakes Students will be performing at the 2 p.m. High School competition on Saturday, March 2.
