New in Reston- the delicious De Clieu cafe is now open on Soapstone! With uniquely tempting menu items for breakfast and lunch, this addition to Reston is certainly worth trying!
Opening in a space that has been empty for years- De Clieu is gaining attraction quickly and causing traffic in a previously vacant spot in Reston. Upon opening in early May, the cafe was filled to the brim with customers at every seat!
The cozy cafe hosts a delicious menu of drinks and foods. Some of their Spring specialty drinks include Love Potion #9- a latte with real lavender and white chocolate, or Elderflower Aria- a delicate floral latte with acacia honey. Another interesting feature is their Coconut Mocha latte, a unique addition to the menu. If you’re feeling a little less brave, De Clieu also offers your classic Chai Latte, London Fog, and Vanilla Steamer.
If you’re interested in the food menu, you’ll find yourself satisfied. Try the Crazy Irishman- a bagel with egg, cheddar cheese, hash browns, topped with a savory mustard aioli on brioche bread. Or, try the Spicy Swine- a pita sandwich with sausage, egg, spinach, provolone, and homemade sriracha mayo. Don’t forget about the mouthwatering bakery items like croissants and muffins that are also available.
Decorated with gorgeous lighting, fresh plants, new outdoor seating, and a cozy cafe feeling, De Cleiu is sure to welcome you this summer.
“I thought the sandwich was really good and I would go back again and try a drink,” said Senior James Butlin.
“I hadn’t been to any of their locations before, but their drinks were really different. I loved the Love Potion drink and I think I’m gonna start getting it more often,” said Senior Ella Laban.
