An AI integrated private school, Alpha school will open its doors in Chantilly, Virginia. The company’s 15th location is “launching” in the Fall of 2025.
Alpha’s Chantilly location will offer Kindergarten through 5th grade education, with their yearly tuition being priced at $65,000. Information on the exact date the school will be opening has yet to be released.
The Alpha school will be located at 4550 Walney Road, Chantilly, VA. Currently, the Guidepost Montessori school is located at the same address. Information on if the two schools will be sharing the location, or if the Montessori school will be closing its doors has not been released by either schools.
Alpha schools begin the day with two hours of AI-based learning. Students work with the AI algorithm on core subjects. The teachers, called “guides” help to motivate the students, but don’t teach the students. Students work based on their level of comprehension and aren’t restricted to material in their grade level. This format comes from the two hour learning program founded by the founder of Alpha school, Mackenzie Price.
“Students score in the top 1-2% nationally, and over 90% said they love going to school,” 2 hour learning claimed on their website.
After two hours of AI learning, students come together and do workshops and enrichment activities for the remaining four hours of the day.
“Afternoons focus on life skills through hands-on workshops, preparing students to thrive beyond academics. With our guides, each student receives tailored support to meet their unique potential,” Alpha School wrote on their website.
In the Fall of 2025, the school will be opening two other locations in North Carolina. Locations in Texas and Florida will open in the Winter of 2025. In the Fall of 2026, Alpha plans to open a location in Puerto Rico.
