A discovery was made in Los Angeles when police found a body inside an abandoned car. The car was registered to the popular singer d4vd. The body was identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who had been missing from Lake Elsinore, California, since April 2024, when she was only 13 years old.

Investigators said the body was badly decomposed and had likely been in the car for a couple of months. They have not yet confirmed how Rivas died due to how decomposed the body was. There is no current indication of when officials will have an answer.

People have speculated that they were in a romantic relationship based on the fact that Celeste’s parents said that she was dating someone named David and there are pictures that show d4vd allegedly handing money over to people in order to hide their relationship. d4vd also posted the music video of one of his most popular songs named “Romantic homicide,” a song about killing one’s lover, on Rivas’ birthday.

The news quickly spread online, and people were shocked. The people in Rivas’ hometown held a candlelight vigil to honor her life. Many said they wanted answers about how a young girl ended up in that situation.

Right now the investigation is still open. Police are working to figure out how Rivas ended up in d4vd’s car and what exactly caused her death. While no charges have been filed, people across the country are watching closely, hoping the truth comes out soon.
