Niki’s Guide: power through second quarter

As the third quarter of the school year quickly approaches, students may begin to feel burned out.

Seniors especially tired out from the many years of work, more rigorous classes, and “senioritis.”

Luckily, students can take a deep breath because the end of the excessive weight of schoolwork is near.

There is less than one month to power through. Students need to turn in all the assignments they can, study hard, and utilize the upcoming holiday break and focus all efforts on school.

The outcome of the first semester grade report rewards students far more than taking a break now will. For seniors, it provides one last chance to prove their worthiness their college of choice.

The dark cold winter and hours of science fair, Internal Assessments, essays, homework nears the end. Soon it will just be dark cold winter and hours of homework.

However, always remember the reward of powering through to receive a proud progress report feels significantly better than taking a nap this afternoon.
