Niki’s Guide: learn from mistakes

The end of the third quarter approaches and many students may believe they are drowning in work to make up before the end of the quarter.

Bottle this feeling. The only plan of action by this point in the quarter is to sit down and complete work before the quarter ends.

However, by remembering the feeling of drowning in work and the intense stress that some students feel toward the end of quarters, hopefully keeps them from continuing making the same mistake.

Before completing work, write down all the emotions flowing through the mind. Accomplishing this gives a tool to look at when the desire to procrastinate comes around.

Students should finish fourth quarter without stress by engraving this feeling of stress in their minds and using it to eliminate future procrastination.

For now, however, work hard. Sit at a library or desk without distraction and do not look up until work is complete.
