Army-Navy Game Preview: What to expect, fun facts, and statistics!

This Saturday, the 124th rendition of the Army-Navy football game will take place. However, it will not happen in Philadelphia.

For the first time ever, the game will take place in Foxborough, Massachusetts. New England Patriots Head Coach, Bill Belicheck, will give a speech to the Midshipmen after their team dinner Friday night.

What to expect: A low scoring affair. In the last five matchups, the two teams have combined for less than 40 points in each matchup. Another thing to expect is the usage of the navy run game.

In the 2019 rendition, Navy only passed the ball once. The Midshipmen have always had a dominant run game, and it is on Army to stop it. If the Navy wins this game, then they will be in control of the commander’s trophy in a joint deal with the Air Force.

If Army wins, then they keep control of the trophy. The game starts at 3:00 PM EST on Saturday on CBS, and it is the only College Football game being played that day.
