This is a program of the Fairfax County Retired Educators. Application is available at www.fcre.org

Requirements are application, resume, transcript w/ 7th semester grades (min. GPA 2.7), recommendations, and 3 short essays. Due date is before 3pm on March 2nd to the Career Center. SLHS will vet applications and send two on to the sponsor.

The scholarship is for $2,000 and is intended for a student attending college full time in pursuit of a teaching degree. Students attending a two year program do not qualify.
