April is right around the corner and you know what that means! Prom is the most special school dance of the year and you don’t want to miss it. As a senior, going to prom will be a memory you will have for the rest of your life and you definitely want to make sure its a night to remember.

Dressing up, taking pictures, going out to dinner, and going to the dance are the main events that take place on prom night. The idea of getting all glammed up and ready for prom excites most girls and being able to take their special someone will make it even better. Although it’s nice to be able to spend the night with a date, many people go to prom in groups with their friends. It will be a fun night either way so make the best of it!

Senior Dave Hagengimana describes prom as “a great chance to get dressed up and hang out with friends.” Majority of the upperclassmen that attend prom say that it is a truly enjoyable night and that everyone should want to go. Even if you are an underclassman, you could get invited to prom by a junior or senior. “I just hope everyone has the chance to go to prom at least once,” says Hagengimana.

Senior year is full of many unforgettable moments, but prom will be the most memorable. Homecoming week, the homecoming dance, and Sadie Hawkins were all fun events that took place this year, but people are most excited for prom night. According to Senior Alyssa Cartee, “Prom this year will be the last true get together we will have as seniors, so I hope it will be a memorable moment for all of us.” Get ready for the best night of your high school career and buy your ticket for prom soon!
