McTacoHut: breakfast hot spot satisfies Seahawks’ morning cravings

Taco Bell introduced its new breakfast menu March 27, becoming an instant sensation on Twitter, where “#WakeUpLiveMas” was trending.

Taco Bell’s breakfast is available from 7 to 11 a.m., serving as a convenient, quick location for students to get breakfast only five minutes away from campus.

The chain’s new menu features items that include grilled tacos with eggs and bacon, as well as wraps that contain meat, eggs, and hash browns.

“I had a crunch wrap, waffle taco, and a breakfast burrito,” junior Ryan McLain said. “It was the best food I’ve ever had in my life.”

However, the McDonald’s next-door has served breakfast for years, providing hungry patrons with more traditional food from 6 to 10:30 a.m. The McDonald’s menu includes pancakes, bagel and muffin sandwiches, as well as yogurt parfaits.

Despite the difference in presentation, both menus focus heavily on eggs, meat, and carbs.
