  • Community Empowerment of Northern Virginia in Sterling is looking for after school volunteers to help support them with their elementary & middle school kids with STEM Club, tutoring, after school mentoring, martial arts, and cheerleading.  Contact Lauren McCreary at: laurenmc.cenv@gmail.com

  • Crossfield Elementary School is looking for 20 high school students for 30 min/week to mentor students grades K-6 from 3:25pm – 3:55pm (one day/week).  Training provided.  Contact Thaisa York, School Counselor at thyork@fcps.edu or 703-295-1100.  
  • Fairfax County Public Libraries are seeking teen volunteers who need service hours to work in various locations.  Training is provided.  Three info sessions are at Chantilly 9/26, Annandale 10/3, or Oakton 10/8 libraries from 7-8pm.  Register in advance at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library/events.

  • The Southgate Community Center is looking for teens to come 1-2 times a week after school to do tech programming: movie making, music studio, photography, robotics, 3D printing or resume building.
