Win cash prizes and get some ‘que from their on-site food truck, Smoke Wagon BBQ. Drop by the General Store and pick up some cute t-shirts, mugs, jewelry, aprons, rain ponchos, and other snazzy souvenirs. Most importantly, have fun on the carnival rides!

2.) You’ll be swinging at the Rosslyn Jazz Festival in Arlington, Virginia! All the hips cats won’t want to miss the live jazz music. Featured artists will include Joe Keyes & the Late Bloomer Band, The Soul Rebels, Lee Fields & The Expressions, and Xenia Rubinos. Take advantage of discounts at local restaurants – places like Kona Grill, Pancho Villa, and Bistro 360. Try the food trucks – Tacos Matadores will be there, along with Mangia Tutti, Tapas Truck, and several others.

3.) Partake in the Paint the Town 5K in Martinsville, Virginia! Bring a towel and claim your white t-shirt before you begin the race. During your run down the Indian Trail, your t-shirt (or “blank canvas,” rather) will be transformed into a real work of art by volunteers when they shower you with colored cornstarch. There will be a DJ, and you’ll receive lunch (and a swag bag) afterwards. Don your shirt proudly; you’re supporting a good cause! Money raised during the 5K will go towards CHILL, a teen leadership group that seeks to make communities safe and drug-free.

While you make your way around the farm grounds, Fido can have some quality time with the other pooches in the play area designated for pets.
