Global superstar Taylor Swift had an exciting night at the 2024 Grammys. The artist had a total of six nominations this year. Swift became the first person in history to win the album of the year award four times. She won her fourth album of the year award with her hit album Midnights. Swift also won best pop vocal album for Midnights. She now has a total of 14 Grammys throughout her career.

While Swift was giving her acceptance speech for the best pop vocal album award, she announced that she was releasing a new album. Swift joked, “Okay, this is my 13th which is my lucky number, I don’t know if I ever told you that. I wanted to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way, but I know that the way that the Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans. So I wanted to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I have been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19th. It’s called ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’”  This will be Swift’s 11th studio album.

At the 2024 Grammys she wore a magnificent black and white outfit. The main feature was a strapless white Schiaparelli gown with a high slit on the side and black gloves. Taylor had on 300 carats of Lorianne Schwartz diamonds. She wore a clock choker and six chains around her neck. On top of her stunning outfit, she wore her classic red lip look.

Swift has a busy schedule ahead of her post-Grammys. She will be back on the Eras Tour this weekend on February 7th and 10th in Tokyo. The pop artist had a record breaking year in 2023, and it looks like she will continue to make history in 2024.
