Beyonce’s mute challenge is causing mass commotion. You may have heard about this five second challenge of silence. The Beyonce mute challenge happens during the song “Energy” where she says “mute” and everyone must stay silent for five seconds. During those moments, some people started screaming or yelling Washington DC and Atlanta won the mute challenge by keeping the volume down, while the San Francisco bay area lost after the “yellers” ruined it.

The mute challenge has caused controversy and drama to break out. Many people are starting to compare Beyonce to Taylor Swift, saying if it was Taylor Swift doing the mute challenge at the Eras tour, the challenge would be a piece of cake. Beyonce’s fans are upset about the comparison of the two successful pop artists. People attending the concert have been getting angry when people make noise during the challenge, causing her fans to yell. Fans have even had to be separated after causing commotion during the show. Fans have made this challenge very important, saying you have to respect it. If it is not respected, you have lost the mute challenge and upset her fans.
