Senior Victoria Howard has experienced a unique high school experience, but through it all she has remained perky and upbeat.
Four years ago, Howard left London, England and moved to Reston as a freshman. After living in eight different countries, Howard came to the United States.
“I was really nervous,” said Howard. “I didn’t think I would make friends. That was something I needed to overcome.”
Howard participates in chorus, where she says she has established great friendships. Her new friendships helped her overcome her fear of moving to a new country.
Now, Howard has friends from all over the world.
“I met people here that are so friendly and welcoming,” said Howard.
Howard’s friend, senior Daniel Kvavilashvili, described her bubbly personality.
“Victoria (Vicky) is a very vivacious individual who in my opinion very enthusiastic about chorus and very fun to be around because she’s funny,” said Kvavilashvili.
Howard offers one piece of advice that she claims as her motto.
“Live life to the fullest.”
