Daniella Monet, previous Victorious character, Trina Vega, from 2010 to 2013, has announced the spin-off of the Nickelodeon show Victorious, called Hollywood Arts. With the show sharing the name of the school where Victorious originally took place, this is now coming to Netflix with an all new cast and story line, with her as the star and executive producer.

Bouncing back into her old character, Monet has brought back the mid 2000’s child-like wonder with her new show Hollywood Arts, a highly anticipated revamp of the very popular show amongst Nickelodeon watchers, Victorious. Bringing her role, Trina Vega, and new cast members Peyton Jackson, Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Martin Kamm, and Erika Swayze to the big screen, she has fans on the edge of their seats, waiting for the anticipated release of this new era.

Monet has confirmed that her infamous role will be coming back as “an unqualified substitute teacher and struggling actress,” after going through her teenage years convinced her squeaky voice would take her to the red carpet. She will once again roam the halls of her old performing arts high school, only this time, instead of navigating herself and her friends along-side her sister and main character Tori Vega, she will be roaming as a figure of authority with a whole new group to look out for.

“Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do,” Monet claimed in a news release. “‘Victorious’ was in a lot of ways life changing for all of us, our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can’t begin to describe,” she continued. “As an actress, producer, and mom, I am so eager to create something we can all be proud to share with the world,” she added.
