On Wednesday nine games were played: Qarabag FK vs Ajax with Ajax winning 4-2, Villarreal vs FC Kobenhavn with Kobenhavn surprisingly winning 3-2, Athletic Club vs PSG in a surprisingly 0-0 tie, Bayer Leverkusen vs Newcastle with another tie 2-2, Benfica vs Napoli with Benfica winning 2-0, Borussia Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt with another surprising tie of 2-2. Club Brugge lost to Arsenal 0-3, Juventus beat the Cyprus team Pafos FC 2-0, and the last game of this Campaign was Real Madrid vs Manchester City, with City winning 2-1.
The top goal scorers from round six of the Champions League were Noni Madueke from Arsenal Mason Greenwood from Marseille, and Anan Khalaili from Union St.Gilloise.
Key games from this round were Manchester City and Real Madrid 2-1, with Rodrygo scoring his first goal after the longest goal drought in Real Madrid’s history.
