Netflix releases JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean

Netflix has released the complete batch of Stone Ocean. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a series created by Hirohiko Araki. The story follows Jolyne Cujoh, who is assigned with the task of retrieving her father’s DISC and defeating Enrico Pucci. As of now, Stone Ocean has finally reached its end, and it concludes the original universe.

Despite the original universe being reset, the main cast is reincarnated with better lives compared to their original counterparts. The next installment after Stone Ocean is Steel Ball Run, which follows the paraplegic protagonist, Johnny Joestar. David Productions has only animated JoJo parts 1-6, however, this does not include Steel Ball Run and JoJolion. JoJolion and Steel Ball Run take place in an alternative universe.

Another thing to note is that significant changes were made from the manga to the anime adaptation regarding Stone Ocean. Other than that, the story is still the same from the manga. Stone Ocean’s manga ran from December 7th, 1999 – April 8th, 2003, and it was featured in the Weekly Shōnen Jump. Japanese manga volumes, also known as tankbōns, would be released and were derived from the manga.

The final episodes of Stone Ocean were released on Thursday, December 1st, 2022. Its initial release of the first part was released a year prior, meanwhile, the second part came out on September 1st, 2022. There are 38 individual episodes in Stone Ocean each with a runtime of 24 minutes. There are multiple language dubs available for Stone Ocean, and the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series is adored by fans.
