As the holidays roll around, many South Lakes alumni are finding themselves coming home to spend time with friends and family.
After spending months at their respective school or pursuing other routes, some alumni find themselves feeling a bit home sick. Class of 2011 graduate Mark Linsangan is coming back to Reston after spending some time travelling to pursue his budding film career.
“Coming home is always a good feeling for me,” said Linsangan. “I’m close to my family, and it’s just nice to be back home.”
On the other hand, some graduates did not feel homesick at all, but are happy to be home. One such alumnus is college freshmen Ama Kyei.
“I get to reconnect with all my friends whom I haven’t seen in months,” said Kyei. “Getting to see them again after months at school makes me really happy.”
