With an uncertain school year ahead, here are some updates on subjects like course schedules, summer assignments, laptops, senior photos, SATs, spiritwear and more!

Schedules

  • Class schedules will be released on September 2nd. You can access your schedule on StudentVue
  • School starts on September 8, 2020 (fully online)
  • You can look over the school year calendar 
  • The school day will run on a normal 8:10-2:55 schedule
  • The Bell Schedule is as follows:
    • Blue Days
      • PERIOD ONE ~ 8:10 – 9:30
      • PERIOD THREE ~ 9:45 – 11:05
      • LUNCH ~ 11:15 – 11:50
      • PERIOD FIVE ~ 12:00 – 1:20
      • PERIOD SEVEN ~ 1:35 – 2:55
    • Green Days
      • PERIOD TWO ~ 8:10 – 9:30
      • PERIOD FOUR ~ 9:45 – 11:05 – Seahawk Seminar
      • LUNCH ~ 11:15 – 11:50
      • PERIOD SIX ~ 12:00 – 1:20
      • PERIOD EIGHT ~ 1:35 – 2:55

Spiritwear

For Seniors

Laptops

  • Rising freshmen and new students can pick up their laptops.
  • Students and families must wear a mask then write down their student ID number and attach it to the car window.
  • Families will enter the student parking lot entrance and go Door 4 (stadium side) where a laptop will be handed out.
  • Distribution is occurring on this schedule:
    • August 18th: 3-7pm
    • August 19th: 9-1pm
    • August 20th: 2-6pm

Summer Assignments

Lockers

  • Students who have been unable to retrieve items from lockers can email Ms. Kelly Stiehl at ksstiehl@fcps.edu.
  • Unclaimed items left in lockers will be discarded or donated.

Textbooks & Instruments

  • The school is working on a system to distribute necessary supplies, books and instruments.
  • There will likely be a pick up program from September 3, 2020 – September 11, 2020.

Virtual Events (times to be released)

  • There will be a Virtual Parent Coffee 9th and 10th grade on August 27, 2020.
  • There will be a Virtual Parent Coffee 11th and 12th grade on August 28, 2020.
  • The school is hosting a the freshman orientation entirely online this year, with two sessions split alphabetically, on August 30, 2020.
  • Back to School Night will be virtual this year, on September 24, 2o2o
