Freshman Joseph Hosi is on the South Lakes swim team. Despite being diagnosed with tendonitis, Hosi has been competing for 2 years.
Why do you do swimming?
Because I got diagnosed with tendonitis which did not allow me to do much and because it’s really fun. Tendonitis is an inflammation to the tendon, so I can’t do any other sport.
How long have you been swimming?
Since I was in seventh grade. It’s been two years.
Have you won any of medals?
I do competitive and I have won lots of medals during summer and winter.
What type of events do you do?
I do the 100 and 200-meter fly and the 100 and 200-meter backstroke.
What was your fastest time in these events?
One minute on the 100-meter fly and 1:06 on the 100-meter backstroke.
