Singer Harry Styles has just recently announced a new song’s arrival via an Instagram post of him in his recording studio with the caption of “Aperture. Jan. 23, 00:00 U.K.” Fans around the world are screaming with excitement for some new music from their favorite artist, who had claimed his music era was over, but now has a single after four years since his last tour.

The song “Aperture” is apparently the lead single of Styles’ fourth album called Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally. Styles has his fans rushing to not only their streaming platforms, but also to ticket purchasing websites, considering Style’s will be touring in March of 2026. But of course, with the new release, there is also some controversy.

Many people online have been criticizing Styles’ album cover. Many claim that it looks as though it looks “unprofessional,” “created on Canva or Picsart,” and that it looks, “DIY’d.” The cover features a dark forest, with a looming disco ball in the sky, and Styles in the corner with very different, bright lighting. With the drastic change between lighting in each aspect of the image, some people believe it to look “cheap.”

On the other hand, his fans strongly disagree. “Stylers,” his fans, believe that it was done this way on purpose, claiming they understand the vision. Many say that it appears this way for a reason, to signify his edginess and artistic demeanor. Some even think he made it look that way to signify or mock the “Harry Styles” he had been promising to be for so long, but is silently announcing his growth and maturity.
