The release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) has made many fans go wild, with the vault tracks causing a large deal of this excitement The vault tracks are songs Taylor Swift wrote in the past, but did not put on the original version of the album.The songs are later released when she re-releases an album. There are a total of five vault tracks on the album, but one particular song called ‘Is It Over Now’ has caught the attention of Swift’s fans. Fans were able to figure out that the song is about former One Direction singer Harry Styles, causing shock among the fanbase. 

Swift and Styles’ relationship started way back in 2012, when they dated for a couple of months. Fans were desperate to find out if Swift would be doing a collab with Styles on the 1989’s re-release, but were disappointed to find no such collaboration. 

‘Is It Over Now’ has a lyric that says “Blue dress on a boat,” in reference to a picture that was taken in 2013 where Swift is sitting alone in a boat after her breakup with Styles. It has been said that Swift wore that same blue dress in her music video for “Out of the Woods,” a song that is also rumored to be about Styles.

Another lyric from the song, “When you lost control, red blood, white snow” seems to refer to a snowmobile accident Styles and Swift got into. The snowmobile accident was also mentioned in Swift’s song “Out of the Woods.” The lyric in “Out of the Woods” is, “Remember when you hit the brakes too soon, twenty stitches in a hospital room.”

The last lyric from “Is It Over Now” is, “Your new girl is my clone.” That lyric implies that Styles’ new girlfriend is a look alike of Swift, which is why later in the song the lyric says, “If she’s got blue eyes, I will surmise that you’ll probably date her.” Many fans have been talking about Styles’ song “From the Dining Table” where one of the lyrics says, “Woke up the girl who looked just like you, I almost said your name.” This lyric has caught a lot of people’s attention while listening to “Is It Over Now,” causing them to  think that “From the Dining Table” is about Swift.

After the release of “Is It Over Now,” Styles lost over 100,000 followers on Instagram. Styles and Swift are said to be “good friends” because they were seen together and were both talking to each other in the 2021 Grammy Awards Show; but the public has no way to know what their relationship is like for sure!
