As we enter the new year, the show Heated Rivalry has taken over the minds of fans worldwide.  Released in November of 2025, main characters Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), have already set the world on fire with their magnetic chemistry. 

The show takes place across Canada as main characters Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov are on opposing, top tier, hockey teams. Based on a book, this show connects to television and literature lovers. As their careers grow, tensions between them grow and they simultaneously cut and double it by becoming under the radar lovers.  

Viewers around the globe are on the edge of their seats with their eyes covered by their hands, (and a few peep holes of course,) as Hollander and Rozanov fight through the personal struggles  while also trying to maintain their relationship. Whether on the ice or close together, the characters will always find a way to come in contact with each other, happily or not. With other relationships directed towards the media, they subtly take over each other’s minds without the press’ awareness. But will it last? Or will the world uncover the truth the men have been hiding. 

Fan edits of the show have been surfacing all over social media, and they’re definitely hits. With several edits being played on big screens in clubs and party venues, they’re taking the world by storm. The edits perfectly replicate and fuel the chemistry within the show. 

Despite only having six episodes,Heated Rivalry spans nearly a decade.  Director Jacob Tierney did a wonderful job of showing the growth of the players through growth and family issues. .
